gradual into of formula since oct up to 9oz day, stopped BF 1 week ago...struggled for last month with v limited milk & only continued as nasty tummy bug starting 3 wks ago poss left jakob with a bit of difficulty digesting formula (Hipp Org) so have had to gradually intro again. only on 6oz a day, any more and he burps a lot and is sick. GP says to gradually intro, ive considered a proper lactose intol but he seems to cope with 6oz so planning to persevere at present

has only slept once through the night
What’s your LO like when waking at night? How long is he/she up?
only recently stopped 10pm feed when BF stopped. prev woke up, fed and slept immediately and had been going through after thet for several nights before tummy bug

now wakes between 9.30 and 1 .......
before 11pm usually has a drink and goes off again
after 11pm sometimes drinks but often too distressed, teething powder often works and goes off agin
last 3 nights he has arched and screamed for about 45 mins
When you go to him/her is she fussing or crying? Or is it a mantra cry?
screaming
What have you tried to settle??
teething powder, calpol, PUPD
What do you do for A time and how long is it?
last 3 nights 30 - 45 mins PUPD
Are there developmental issues such as teething or milestones?
teething and starting to walk and talk
has been staying with gparents 2 x weekly while im working for 1 month...doesnt cry to be left,
he enjoys it but as soon as he sees me he wants me...climbs my leg and sucks thumb
Do they have a prop? If so what is it?
no, just thumb which has got more frequent. sucks very hard at night
Do they have a lovie?
a blankie? not one that hes attached to
im up again at stupid o clock, after 1hr 30mins screaming i cant sleep
Jakob wouldnt be consoled tonight, PUPD (not lifting out of cot just placing back down) for 10 mins, drink and calpol, PUPD again for 20 mins. got so distressed he was struggling to breathe so i picked him up and he stopped crying/sucked thumb but as soon as i put him down started up again. i couldnt cope in the end and had to leave him as i could feel myself getting frustrated...usually i can zone out and not let it bother me but im exhausted after a 4am start yday, my 4yo off school for wkend, house upside down with building work and following a horrible cold...no excuse i know i feel bad anyway which is why im still awake!
in the day he often goes down for a nap without a murmur, usually 2 PUPD,suck thumb and gone

i feel i cant get a routine going with 4am starts and/or school runs.
wake to sleep doesnt seem to work as his waking is irregular and when ive tried it at 10pm he still wakes about an hour or so later and seems more frustrated.
i know hes not having much milk and plan to intro an afternoon cup of milk when he can tolerate it, i try every 2 days. even a yogurt at lunch can tip him over the edge into a constant burping session and being sick. he is a great eater otherwise and was baby led weaned at 6m

im soooooooooooo tired
