My goodness... 5wk old roller!!!
« on: December 09, 2010, 14:47:39 pm »
My 5week old just began rolling from her back to belly!!!

at 2 weeks old she rolled onto her left hand side in her sleep (she is a refluxer and after this we put her on her side to sleep and she settles better)

I just put her on her back to change her bum and bam she rolled... put it down to maybe hadnt put her on her back properly... so made sure she was... and... bam again!!!

So I got my camera out... and she did it twice more and i filmed it  :o :o :o

And then she kept doing it!! DH had to hold her still so i could change her bum!!!

Video here

I'm so shocked lol DD1 was 15 weeks... DD2 was a few weeks after 15 cant remeber exactly

I'm a very scared mummy... cause from learning to roll comes... learning to move round the room via rolling... come like 3/4 months with the other two was bad enough if she is rolling already how long before she moves around via rolling EEEEEEEK!!!! lolm

Ds 2 rolled at around 6 weeks or so, but he only did it for a couple of days (I managed to catch it on video), then stopped again.  So don't panic yet, it might be just a phase! ;D

Flipping heck!! Martina DD2 is nearly 6m and can't roll, doesn't even really try!! DD1 was 18 weeks so I was quite surprised DD2 still can't! Oh well the longer she stays stationary the better imo ;) Louisa I hope for your sake is is only for a couple of days!!

LOL Charli, I swear we have the same children just opposite sex!  ;)  DS1 rolled around 3.5mos the first time and then was consistently doing it from 5mos on.  F is just starting to get the hang of it, as in TODAY he has started rolling, and only on soft surfaces (the mattress), at 7mos old.  Just goes to show you, all babies really are different!  ;)

Well, DD is almost 8 months old and has rolled twice by accident a month ago and nothing since. She likes being on her back and that is that it seems!

See DD3 is the differant she isnt happy on her back cause of her reflux she rolled on her side in her sleep from 2/3 weeks and has slept on it ever since which might be why shes done it if she isnt comfy on her back i suppose it would make sense for her to try and get off it
