it's possible.....some bubs have a "natural" bedtime window.  It looks like good overall totals on his daytime sleep, and that's about a 12 hr day for him, since he was up just after 6, so that's great!  We'll see what the night and the morning bring!

First wakening was 11:30, which normally is between 9 & 10, but during the night was 1:50 and then again at 2:30 but for no reason, but he is now beginning to get on his knees to crawl so i thought this is frustrating him. i eventually fed to sleep at 3:10 that was him until 6:15 this morning. big improvement on things at night slowly getting there on days but will see how things go with the first nap.

I would give it another day of the same A time and see...if it's still 45 min, then I'd add another 10 min of A time.

hi, i stuck with the 2hrs 40 A time and finally he slept longer than 45 mins! (and still sleeping as i type!) is the morning A time to be the shortest? and if so should i increase the afternoon A times to make them longer than 2hrs 40?

we had a rough night las night he was up at 1:50 and didnt get settled again until 4, i think maybe his gums were bothering him. with the nap this morning, i decided to go for a sleep aswell and we ended up sleeping for 2.5 hrs, i should have set the alarm cos now we will have another bad night for it.

yay for a better nap - sometimes it really does take a several days for new A time to result in sleep changes.  Sorry about the bad night - teething can indeed mess everything up.  If it's not too late for today, I'd just shorten his next nap  - wake him after 1.5 hrs since the first nap was so long.

And yes, the first nap of the day is often the shortest, but....if his 2nd nap is long after a good first nap and the same A time, I wouldn't adjust it.  If he doesn't seem like he's ready to go down after 2 hr 40, then I'd add 10 min or so.

hi, the 2nd nap was only an hour with 2hrs 40 for all A times, apart from the last as we were out. i hope this doesnt mess up our night with being a wee bit later to bed. he had had a total of 3.5 hrs sleep today thats the first in a while! woo hoo!

hi,  we had one waking at 9pm, then 1.50 (again thats been 3 nights in a row) and then half 5 then up at 7. i think he woke early due to being in his bed that wee bit later but big improvement already. do you think now with the better routine he might finally STTN? or am i just hoping for too much?

anything is possible :)  If you keep having trouble with nights, but the naps have sorted out, go ahead and post over on the NWs board and see what they say there.  I'm so glad the naps are getting better!!!
