we are struggling now, he woke at 2:50 i done shush/ pat took my hand away and kept with the ssh he was sleeping after 30 mins then he just woke it took 2 hrs to get him back to sleep its draining us all. im not sure what to do now.

ive just had a thought. could it be possible that from he was little he has always had a sleeping bag and still uses one just now that he has grown out of it and this is annoying him?

Possibly. Can you try a bigger one that is more comfortable for him?
Are you still using the dummy at night?

Ive ordered a bigger sleeping bag. Yes we still using dummy he crys big time if it falls out. How could we wean it off him? We had a great nite last nite. He woke at 5:10 and i managed 2 settle him til 6:30

Wow was 5.10 the only NW? If so that is great.
Regarding weaning the dummy, I'm no expert as we have never used a dummy. Could you perhaps start a new thread in props for some more expert eyes? I say a new thread as more people will look at that and give you advice than they will a new question in this thread which is quite long now.
I do think the dummy dropping out is becoming an issue and causing him to wake everytime he comes into lighter sleep/it falls out.

i agree the dummy is a problem and has become a prop. we usually now only have one night waking which still takes 2 hrs to settle him and can vary on times but 5 was good and he settles quick after that for a change. i will post over on props to see what they think.
