It's been awhile since I made it so I can't quite remember, but I think it's smaller than cous cous. It is healthier too I think as it is a complete protein. Here we can also find quinoa flakes which you can use in cereals, etc. Maybe your DD would like that instead if she doesn't like the cooked way.
I know what you mean, as if feeding one kid wasn't tricky enough, trying to get two to eat healthy is quite a challenge sometimes!!
