Claire - I just can't get into all that with two other lo's but luckily he's been teething quite well.  I would have done it with Ethan though as he teethed really badly  :-*

Sherry - What time did he go down and let me know what time he wakes up and I'll tell you when I'd put Lewis back down with the same timings.

Hmm, he has a bad cough too and his eye is a bit weepy today. I was wondering if it was something more than teething. Maybe he is just a bad teether. ???

Thanks everyone!  It sounds like we have a few bad teethers.

Bunting Bear- I had to hold my Lo for 2nd nap yesterday.  It was kinda of nice though!!

Last night he was up a few times but no insane yelling so I didn't go in right away and he fell back to sleep on his own.  No good sleep for me though!!

We were up at 5:45 (which is good for him!)  I tried AP for more time but no go.  He had a 75 min am nap today with 4.5 A time so that much was good!

Hope everyone's day was better.

So we had a one nap day from 210pm-435pm.  I had to wake him then to preserve bedtime but he wasn't best pleased about it!  Of course usually I'd never put him down that late but we went to a play place this morning and straight to a pub lunch but he held out fine.

LO woke up at 5am but we left her and she resettled until 6:30am. She went to sleep at 11:25 (so 20 mins ago) so her first A time is slowly becoming 5 hrs, just gotta get this 1 hr nap thing dealt with though.

Sometimes I wish I never even read these threads :(

I saw it too late Karen. I guess for the future I'll ask
wake 5:45
nap 912-10:02 - he woke on his own. But, the went right to sleep, so I'm a little confused why it was so short. It was almost 3h30 m A time
Second nap, still not down and it's 2:09. I tried too early, but he seemed so tired, cranky, yawning, rubbing eyes, etc. He's quite in his crib right now, but still awake, after screaming the house down.
So what A time works for you after a 45min ish first nap

Prob about 3h 15mins.  Do you think he's gone from UT to OT?  We had some of that going on last week when I was trying to put him down early to try and get on top of OT.

BB:  After the one nap day we had a long NW from 4:15am to 5:45 am.   He slept all the way through from 6:30pm to 4:15am though.  Then he woke at 8:30am!!!

You asked abot holding through naps ... yes I would have done it for Ds1, but can't now too busy with two kids, so if he's in bad teething pain and even on meds I will feed to sleep I guess.   We have some so far with sleep training recently I would loathe to start up a bad association again, but if I had to, I would use any APOP required to let my bubbs have some sleep.

So we had another one nap today which was a bust up... 45 mins first nap 12:30 - 1:15pm and then we HAD to give a 45 mins nap from 4:15 - 5:00  then he fought bedtime like the ens, the poor man is teething so I fed him to sleep at 8:30pm. He was soo good dutring his A times though.  He sort of turned into a zombie before the second nap  :-\  at least he wasn't whinging and carrying on.

Sherry what happened with that second nap then?

He finally went down when I posted that. But.... then he woke up 45 min later in a major state.
Turns out that we are having a bad episode. I suspected wheat was an issue a long time ago, and now that he is on solids more it really does seem to be an issue. That is really the only thing that has changed majorly since he weaned. He eats a lot more wheat. I would suspect the almond or coconut milk (since I didn't have much of either of those when he was bf) but he really didn't have much yesterday. In fact he really only drank water yesterday. So, no wheat today. I also put his bed back on an incline. He tends to sleep at the bottom though, which I don't really like. That's why I took it down. But, I had to rock him to sleep several times last night, and he kept screaming when I put him in bed. So that helped.

Hugs Sherry.   :-*

Had to do another one nap today as he fed at 615am again and then went back to sleep and woke up for the day at 810am.  Nap was just shy of two hours and finished at 210pm so will do 630pm bedtime.  He did wake up happy though so that's a start.  Imagine it'll be a two nap day tomorrow but will see what time he wakes for the day tomorrow.

Checking back in as I've had a few bad nights - up every hour or two and a EW at 4.45. I blame DD's jabs, cold and canines coming through, last night we just had 1 NW and up at 5.50 (that's a lay-in for me!).

Man I was a mess for about 48 hrs, the tiredness does me in!

Ah well, it can only get better. :-\
