Hugs Lilybug and Jackie!  Lulu- teething has been just as Jackie has described for several of his teeth, although not all of them.  Not a whole lot of fun!

Hugs Kim!

BB- T was up until 3:00, which was 7 hrs.  Then he only took a 40 min nap, and was up until 9, which was another 6 hrs.  I tried repeatedly to put him down for a CN, and to try for early bt, but he wasn't tired.  He was a bit cranky wanting a lot of attention- big surprise I know!  I am heading to bed now as I am expected a rough night with so little day sleep!!  Hoping for good nights for us all!  ;)

Hi

Well yesterday, as Ty got up ay 7.45 (after many NW) we went for a one nap, which he had 12.30-2.30 he was then in bed for 7pm.  He was then awake at 10pm when I tapped his back until he dropped back off, then again at 11 when he had some bottle. He was then awake 1.30-4am and only slept then because he had meds for teething and watered down milk.

I give up.

They are some mega a times there Amy! FX for a good night for you.

Well seems teething is effecting lots of us. Another shocker of a night here too. He barely managed 40 mins of sleep at a time before 1am and then only 2 hours after. Let him sleep this morning as too tired to wake him at 7 so a 1 nap day again.

He's back in bed now after refusing breakfast, teething has alot to answer for.  Has made a poor sleeper into a horrendous one !

seems a lot of us are having rough nites.

DD woke at 4:40am last nite after 2 nites of STTN, I didn't know if I woke her or what, cos I was touching her hands to see if she was cold 30secs before she cried.

Something strange though, she cried mama and was looking for me, and once I stroke her head and said" go to sleep, mama's here", she lied back down but the same thing repeat every 10-20 sec until 5ish. When she was OT or UT, she cried her eyes out or mantra cried for hrs.  I wonder if SA is to blame?

It happened once at BT too 2 nites ago, I was standing next to her cot, saying the same thing over n over for 25mins!! whereas before I can sneak out of the room once I put her in bed.

I didn't notice any difference during daytime though, not clingy and not cranky, I wonder what's up.

I had 2 long am/short pm day then followed by 2 STTN nites, today's naps were off, short am and short pm, I am dreading the 4am  OT wake up again tonite.

We've been nicely back on two naps but he went back to sleep until 830am after a 615am feed.  We've been out all morning so he hasn't had a nap and have just put him down at 2pm.  Hoping he'll sleep till 430pm and I'll wake him up then to preserve bedtime (if by any chance he sleeps that long)!

Well we had a good night until 4 and he woke up very wet and I had to change all his pj's, nappy etc so he was then wide awake and v fed up. He settled with a bottle and eventually went back down till 7.30.

This morning I pushed him thru to 12 but turns out that was too much and it took us an hour to settle him for his nap as OT. He seems to be putting in a long one so fingers crossed he goes through till 3.30 ish. I've turned into a woman possessed insisting everyone tiptoes thru the house and poor Noah (age 3.5) is watching The Gruffalo v quietly and is on a promise that we'll go swimming this pm if he's quiet. Hate being like this.

Hugs to you all- know that at 4 a.m. You have a kindred spirit awake here too!

Aww bless!  Our second A time is our longest one.  3.5 to 4 hours depending on how the day's going.  The first one and last one can still be 3 hours but the second one needs to be longer.

Ok, good to know. I won't try for the second nap until at least 3.5. Hopefully he will sleep 1.5 this morning.
Right now we are (asleep at) 3.5, 3.5, ~3.5 (usually a tad more). So, pretty easy to keep track of. I'll extend the second A time and see if that does the trick.

Hi

After a shocking night Ty went back down for 1.5 this morning, he's now just gone back down.  Shall I cut it to an hour or just let him carry on and wake him at 4 ?

Thanks

Sarah

This prob isn't the right place to ask but hey- ho I will sneak it in anyway  :-X - does anyone else have to hold their LO through naps when they are teething?? We got a 2 hour nap today but he had to be held for about 1hr 40m of it! Finally got him into a deep sleep and he went back in his cot for the last 20 mins. 3rd day in a row we have had to do this, though today has been the worst.
