For those whose los have reflux, should green beans and peas be avoided for now?

I never avoided them either. In fact peas made a great early finger food - kept them entertained for ages trying to pick them up, great for pincer grip practise!

Ugh, I think those green bean and pea purees should be avoided for their sheer nastiness alone.  But, I love them as a finger food, as Laura suggests.  I never gave them to DD1, but once she was past the puree stage, she started getting a lot more veggies, and she still loves them.

I have never heard anything about them relative to reflux though.  They never seemed particularly acidic to me.
