Not sure I can keep up with this thread, but DS isn't a super eater...and most of what I'll end up typing will be "attempts" rather than what he actually eats. I am also looking for some inspiration. Also, it's really annoying working and not knowing what DH and my mom feed him during the day.
Today was something like:
Bottle: half formula/half whole milk (dairy trial as per GI) 8 oz.
Breakfast: blueberry waffle
Snack: unsure
Bottle: again half and half (no idea what TIME he had this bottle during the day)
Lunch: baby oatmeal mixed with applesauce? I think or something like that.
Snack: unsure
Dinner: Piece of cheese (ate two bites, then spit out the rest) yogurt with oatmeal mixed in (ate two bites, spit out the rest), leftover "lunch" oatmeal/applesauce mix (took two bites and spit out the rest) --I only kept offering food b/c he was screaming and whining as if hungry, but wasn't keen on anything offered. I was cooking chicken, salsa, corn, black beans, rice and cream cheese one pot dish for me and DD....offered some of that when it was finished....again, took two bites and then refused any more. While he was screaming, I gave those baby PUFF snacks....which he devoured. UGH. Then he continued to fuss until I gave in and gave him a bottle.
He would live on cheerios, puffs, and some fruits ALL day.
He is not very interested in pasta, rice, meats, beans, fish, eggs....tends to try them and then spit them out.
I'm tired of the spitting out.
