Hi, desperately need some advise as at a loss for any more ideas to sort this out!

DD is 2 1/2 and over the past 3 weeks has started getting out of bed every day about 6/6:30, then takes her nappy off (always containing poo) and then shouts me. Needless to say it can be quite messy some mornings!

She has been potty trained since beginning of january but still has a nappy on for her nap and night time. Potty training has gone really well, no accidents for a few weeks now. Thought about stopping putting her in the nappy of a night but it is still pretty wet in the morning so dont think she is ready yet.

Not sure if she is doing it as a ploy to get us to go into her and then get her up.  So have tried just dealing with it as quickly as ssible and putting her staright back to bed but she doesnt re settle.  Have tried a sticker reward chart which worked for a couple days then back to nappy removal.

Dont know what else to do???!!!

My DD started taking off her diaper or pull up to resist bedtime, and then would pee on her bed on purpose (she knew I'd HAVE to come back up to take care of that!) Thank goodness there wasn't ever POO involved.

BUT, what I did was cut the feet off a few of her footsie pajamas and put them on backward, She couldn't unzip them so then couldn't take off her diaper and the whole thing stopped. I no longer have to put them on backward...she's just learned to keep everything on and the novelty/control issue is over (thankfully).

Even if your LO calls for you early to change her b/c of poo...at least it will be less messy this way!

They also sell pajamas specially made to zip up in the back if you search online :)

HTH.
