I did follow Martina's thread. She did so great.

Last night she was asleep by 645pm, woke up at 12am and I quickly settle her. Again at 1am and she would not settle. I tried until 2am where I then fed her. She went back to sleep and woke up at 6:50am.

I just don't know if I am sending her mixed messages. I mean, she must think that if I cry hard enough mommy will give in.  Ykwim?

She is going to get mixed messages.  If you are sure she isn't hungry, go for it and don't give in.  But if you think she is hungry, feed her.

I thought b/c she wouldn't settle, she was hungry. As soon as I fed her she went back to sleep.

Maybe you should wait then.  It is only 1 NF and maybe just offer less milk.  When C was waking and it started to effect his morning bottle, I tried to offer less milk for the NF.

Sigh! I know this feeding at a certain time will send mixed messages.  Grrr..... It is so much easier to feed. LOL Anyhow, I am debating to try less milk or water it down. I know she does NOT need this feed.

Why don't you see if you can resettle first, if she does great. If it's after midnight/ 1am and you can't resettle then feed her but start reducing the amount you offer by 1oz every 3 days.

This is what I did.  Sorry, I should have been more clear Sabrina.  This is what I was thinking you should do.  I did less and less and C just didn't want it anymore.

I will try that tonight.

we had a perfect EASY yesterday and the little devil woke up at 6am not wanting to go back to sleep. She pulled me out of such a deep sleep.

wake at 6:50am
nap 10:05-11:50
nap 3:05-4:50
asleep by 7:50pm

nw 12am, settled quickly here
nf 3:30am
then was up every 40min after that.
I wonder if it is b/c i diluted her milk and only gave her 5ozs. This morning she drained 8ozs.

Should I post a new topic about these silly eWs.  I don't want our day to start at 6am. I can manage anything after 6:30am.  I know she is teething and there are many milestones she is trying to achieve. Just accomplished sitting and now she is trying to crawl.

Kara, I was just reading one of your responses to another post. Could the EW be b/c her last nap was too long. She never gives me a long nap here. I is always around 1.5hours.

I think you may be trying to do the night feed weaning too quickly. To drop oz and dilute at the same time is maybe a step too far - she sounds like she was hungry which is why she was unsettled then woke early.

I would go back to giving her the formula at normal strength and slowly drop the oz, you need to do 1oz every 3 nights to let her get used to slightly less each time. The EW today was probably due to hunger, so if you try an early bedtime today and the Nf as I suggested she may not EW tomorrow.

It may be that she is a hungry girl and you won't be able to drop that feed for a little while until she is eating more solids in the day.

Last night she was in bed at 7pm. Slept until 5am. Fed her and she snoozed for 10min.  She woke again at 5:30am and did go back to sleep. Why these silly EWs.
