can i feed cooked okra to my 9 months old baby ?

My 2.5 y.o. LOVES okra, esp the pickled kind.  I have literally had to cut her off after about 6 of them b/c they have so much darn salt, I don't want her to swell up.

Don't be surprised if your lo is turned off my the slimy texture and/or seeds though.

hehe, dd loves my mums okras cooked with rice and tomato sauce but not when I cook it, which maybe bc my mum has a different okra and we live in 2 different countries where okras quite different- one is small soft and one is big and hard!!! :) so I give it to her when we go back home visit ma :)
