Something went right today :) But I have no idea what is was?!? VERY annoying! We had the most pleasant BT with the happiest little girl then we've had in over a month! Woohoo! Here's today:

E 6:30 am and 8:00 am (solids)
A 6:30 am - 8:45 am
S 8:45 am - 10:45 am
E 10:45 am
A 10:45 am - 12:15 pm
S 12:15 pm (10/15 mins in car)
A 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm
S 1:30 pm (took until 2:30 pm to settle not sure if UT or OT) - 4:15 pm
E 4:15 pm
A 4:15 pm - 6:00 pm
E and S by 6:15 pm

Looking at it it's all over the place but something must've clicked just a tad annoying that there are so many variables?!? Extended morning A, Nap in car, Short last A before bed?!? Any ideas? One thing I have learnt about DD is that if she's OT there is hope that she will take a good nap...UT forget it! I'm sure she plots during the night how she's going to torment me the next day :) I also came to the conclusion last night that she must always be OT and miserable at the end of the day as she can't actually S when I think she is I literally think she just lays there for most of nap time in silence...so maybe UT was my issue all along?!

Also how would you handle A time after an unplanned nap (in the car etc.) because I can hardly prevent it but then didn't really know when next S should be? I just added the S time onto the total A time that should've been so instead of 2 hr15 I lengthened it to 2hr 30 because of the 15 min nap?!? Obviously the wrong thing to do though as she then took a good hr to settle??

YAY for the good bedtime!!  How was today?

Its a hard one.  I tended to leave places at S time so if she fell asleep she was tired enough to be transferred to her cot or to keep napping in car seat/pram.  I always found if she had a quick 15/20 minutes and then woke up it was enough to revive her for a good while and I just had to keep her up until I thought she was giving me tired signs.  Will she not stay asleep if she falls asleep in the car?  Obviously i'm assuming shes in a car seat that goes in and out of the car and not suggesting you leave her in the car!!

After all that....

For the last 2 days i've had to introduce the CN again as I cannot have her going to bed at 5 pm when were trying to introduce solids...tried it, it doesn't work. So i've cut her AM nap to 1 hr 15 to allow time for CN...hopefully as its over an hour it seems to be long enough to revive her for a next full A. DD is at such an awkward stage with regards to EASY as her A time is slightly too long for 3 naps but slightly too short for 2?!? Annoying! Err DD's car seat is fixed into the car...we call it her throne as it is so massive :)

Hows it been going?

Just be careful OT doesn't set in with the shorter nap as you may need to reduce your A time.

as I cannot have her going to bed at 5 pm when were trying to introduce solids...tried it, it doesn't work

You could still so early bedtime if you need to.  are you introducing 1 meal at a time?  with DD1 i  did solids at lunch for a few weeks and then did breakfast and lunch and didn't build upto 3 meals until about 7-8 months.

She doesn't seem to be doing too badly :) Although after today I think you might be right about the short morning nap as she was a little cranky shortly after it today so think I might let her have 1.5 hours and hope that she still accepts the CN...poor thing is a right little experiment at the moment?!? I would've let her have longer today but DD woke at bang on 1 hr 15. With the solids we've done breakfast for a few weeks and just recently introduced dinner so we are taking it slowly...but saying that I gave her lunch today aswell as she was still really hungry even after a full BF! Greedy child! Yep we will definately be using the early BT if DD needs it...atleast I know she'll STTN! That's one good thing going on at the moment :)
