Night 4 was not in the cards for us. Sam had bad naps which led to a bad night last night. Oh well at least i got caught up on my sleep for now. Waking a lot at night is much easier when i get at least some sleep. He slept better today so hopefully tonight he can stay asleep. I dont know what I am going to do when DH goes back to work in a few weeks. Then its me and 3 kids and back to work for me...more or less all on my own until December. Dh works away from home and can be gone 1,2 and sometimes 3 weeks at a time and then only home for 2-3 days and then all he wants to do or really all he can do is sleep. Its going to be a interesting year for us thats for sure.

Last night was better...he slept most of the night, only waking 2 times and once was for his feeding. Today started out bad with naps because my inlaws came (with 3 hours notice i might add but thats for another board lol) and it interfered with his morning nap because we had to go run our errands and things in the am and he didnt sleep well being dragged in and out of the van this morning. Then he was just about ready for a snooze when they arrived and that was the end of that. He was awake way to long but with patience and stubbornness Daddy got him down when they left and he woke 2 times but i extended and he slept for 2.5 hours. Then he had his bath and bedtime routine early and he went down at 700pm. And i was so excited cause i put him down awake and he settled himself and was asleep in 10 minutes when i usually cuddle him until hes drowzy or asleep (this is more for me then him at this point, i think and bad i know) and then put him down. So i have good hopes for tonight!!!

Keep you posted

*sigh* last nigth was not good which doesnt shock me cause his naps were a mess but it wasnt his worst night either. We are doing good today, he had a good morning nap of 2 hours and hes soon going down for his next one.
Hopefully ds3 will sleep for another 2 hours....cause ds2 and i are making green cake for st pattys day tomorrow lol.

Our second nap wasnt great, only an hour so we ended up doing a 30 minute catnap at 530pm. Also ds3 is spending his first night in his crib, in his own room and not with us in his bassinet. I am not going to sleep tonight lol, i will be glued to every sound that comes from the baby monitor lol. But it has to be done cause i think we are waking him when we go to bed. That said he went down really well again tonight, awake and no swaddle and no paci...he babbled for about 5 minutes to himself and then was fast asleep. What tonight brings only time will tell. I will win this sleep battle eventually lol.
