Hi, I am new to these threads so I may not use many of the abbreviations.
I have 11.5 months old twins who are still in our room.
One of them sleeps fine through the night - has been a good baby since born.
The other Twin 1 suffers with nw - he has been a difficult baby since birth, diagnosed eventually with reflux and has been under a paed consultant and physio but has improved immensely but is still that bit more needy.
When he wakes I comfort him (without picking him up) but it doesn't work - I might try it again and if it doesn't work I bring him into the bed with dh and I. After a few hours he will get restless and start to cry again and I will comfort him but I end up having to put him back in his cot. It has become worse over the last while.
With twins you are always afraid that one twin will wake the other so alot of the solutions for singletons are that bit more difficult with twins.
We are planning on moving them out to their own room this week but I am seriously thinking of only moving out twin 1 that has the nw and deal with the nw first before I move twin 2 out to their room.
Just wondered do any of you have any advice.
Here is a rough guide to their daily routine:
06:30 - 07:30 Wake
07:30 Breakfast
09:00 Formula
09:30 Nap (ranges from 3/4 hour to 1 hour plus)
10:30-11 Snack
13:00 Lunch
14:00 Formula
14:00 - 15:00 Sleep (ranges from 3/4 hours to 1.5 hours)
17:00 - 17:30 Dinner
19:30 Formula and bed
Hoping someone has advice on what is the best thing to do with twins.
Many thanks
