Like Amelia said, the holistic doctor I'm taking DS to on April 5 (for his food sensitivities and some other issues) also works with a LOT of kids with autism issues, ADHD, etc. And she strongly believes that food sensitivities and sometimes metabolic imbalances, etc play a huge part in it and treatment of can make an enormous difference.

Huge hugs and good luck wishes to you. Will anxiously be awaiting an update!

oh a sad update:  the mother of DH's friend's passed 5 years ago.  She was indeed practising Kinesiology.  Apparently DH's friend has 3 kids now and kinesiology cured her DS1 for bed wetting :D

Thank you ladies.

Bed wetting? For real? Nat's almost 6 and no signs of getting out of PullUps any time soon....anyone know how to FIND a kinesiologist then?

I totally agree with you.  But the strangest thing is that I never seemed to have such big problems with store bought ready bread, even the factory mass produced presliced bread.

Yah, I totally read that backward. D'oh!

A quick and short update:  had my 1st consultation.  Found out that I have allergic reactions towards several basic elements, including, Vit A, B, minerals and grains.  These will be treated in my next appointment which is in a week.  Yeast is ok, though.  YAY!!!  I can have all the croissants and patisserie I want in Paris :D  Till next week!

Hey Karen!! :) Thanks for asking.  Sorry I forgot to update on your thread that my appointment was last friday.

I got treated for Calcium and was tested that indeed tap water here being very hard is a problem for me, too whereas filtered water was no problem!  How weird.  I was feeling very tired and irritable, emotional until today.  NWs don't help!!  Today I feel full of energy!  (full is a relative term.)  I took a sleeping pill last night hehe.   On thursday, she will check if calcium is fine for me now.  If so, she can treat me on Vit B complex.

That's it for now.

Well glad you are relatively full of energy today! When do the food intolerance/treatment start?

So tired today - NW from DS from 11:50-12:20 and DD was up from 4:20-5:10 or so...

it's already started.  The testing and treatment follow the sequence of basic elements first which are in most foods.  I think the rationale is that (I have read the full book yet) when your body is allergic to, say, calcium, it's no point in treating individual food yet because the fundamental problem is still there.  Or if my problem really is to do with calcium, I'll have problems with things which contain a certain amount of calcium and that can be a very long list.  But these elements are tested and treated, and if things are still not right, I can decide to go further or I can bring in foods that cause problems for me.

It's 7pm and I can tell you that the cloud of fatigue and exhaustion feeling around my head usually is lifted.  WOW... I only had about 6 hours sleep and DS woke twice.
