last few weeks all over the place, for various reasons.
But today is sort of typical - though last night wasn't
starting from yesterday
6.00am wake (after 10hrs sleep - with one NW)
9.00 - down to sleep and 9.25am asleep
1hrs nap.
10.30 snack
2.15pm down to sleep after books.
standing in crib for 40mins with no sounds (except when we first WO), odd chat and a little moan but no crying.
I then go in a try to put him down, butt in the air and I patt him for around 1 mins, he then starts to push up (ready to sit) so I walk out of the room. Give him 10 mins + some crying and fussing I walk in - same thing patt bum seems to be ready to sleep - but gets up . Walk out - this process goes on until 4.30pm. Finally I walk in put him down (from standing) and he goes to sleep straight away.
5.10pm he wakes up tired we feed him and decide to try for a 6.30pm sleep. He stays up until 8.30pm in various stages of crying fussing etc we walk in a few times we he gets upset, put him down (from standing) and he rolls over , I pat his butt and he seems to sleep, the second I lift my hand he rolls over and gets up. At 8.30pm he goes to sleep.
Today.
NW at 3am and 5am
Wakes up at 7.30am -
Feed at 8.15am
10.00 reading books, down to sleep for 10.15am.
10.20am sleep, self soothed
wakes up at 11am, he pooped himself so this might have been why he woke.
lunch at 12pm
2.45pm - bedtime routing, books etc.
and 3.30pm - here I am writing this , he is still awake - standing in the crib and nothing, no fussing, crying.
I am aware of the 2-1 trans is coming but this has been the case since he was 2 months old, only recently did we EVER get more than 25mins nap and that was because he was going down earlier for the first nap, I was very strictly going for 3.45hr A time in the AM and we just accepted 25mins was all we were getting. Soon as we switched to 3hrs A time in the am we got 5 solid days of 1 to 1 1/2 hrs am nap and 1hr pm nap followed by at least 10hrs of night sleep (one night got 12) then the 6th day, it fell apart and he refused to nap, we spent around an hour patting him for each nap and therefore the schedule became impossible.
