Hi, I'm new to this forum and I've been reading this post since I've had similar problems. I've been trying to get my 8 wk old on a 3 hr EASY with no luck. We've been doing EASY since our LO was born, but his naps are only one hour. And he's feeding for only 15 minutes. I've tried feeding him more ( lots of spitting up).  His awake times are usually 1 hour and 15 minutes, including feeding time. Should I be keeping him awake longer or shorter? So, here is a typical easy schedule for us.

E  6:30-7:00
A. 7:00-8:00
S. 8:00-9:00

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Tash, to start a new topic just go to the relevant board (ie http://babywhispererforums.com/index.php?board=24.0 , http://babywhispererforums.com/index.php?board=30.0 , http://babywhispererforums.com/index.php?board=33.0 etc). Then look towards the right above the list of topics and you'll see a tab saying New Topic. Click on that - and you're away!

my LO is nearly 11 weeks old he has been on the EASY routine since he was 3 weeks he has been great at going down for naps, he feeds every three hours and would go down for a nap after being up for an hour (from the start of his feed) then nap in his moses basket for two hours.  the last 2 days he has only managed two full naps.  should he be napping less now due to his age? my mum reckons he is napping too much. help please!

Yeh. Lots of babies at 12 weeks are doing 1.5hrs, so anything up to that. Don't add a whole 30 mins all at once though or he'll get overtired, do it gradually and see how you get on.
