Dairy vs. Cheese intolerance
« on: May 17, 2011, 12:43:01 pm »
Hi,

My daughter has bad reflux which I didn't know for a while.  She is now 9 months and I am backtracking with food and introducing them very slowly (again).

I recently made some breadsticks with milk in them (she hadn't had any milk products in ages) and she was fine.  Yesterday i gave her some cheese, she loved it but then had a very bad night and when she woke up she had a stuffy nose (which she use to always have before I cut all her food and started reintroducing it).  So I think she is having a problem with cheese but not milk cooked into a product.

Okay, so I think I get that but what I am wondering is if more experienced people think that milk that is not cooked is the problem or it is specifically cheese?  Do I try yogurt? plain milk? or should I stay away from stuff like that? Should I stay away from Milk completely?  Should I find out if she has some sort of dairy allergy or do I assume it is an intolerance?

Confused!
