Hi hachejay, we did take him to the docs and he had a little bit of a virus, but to be honest I think it is more his teeth.  Last night he woke every single hour of the night.

Thanks for the cofirmation on the Panadol too, just didn't want to think it was knocking her out that much!
no worries. I was told that it makes babies drowsy by a friend and then mym um (who is a nurse) marched me down to her medical centre and had the pharmicast and the Dr advise otherwise lol. She said its a big misconception lots of people have...but really there is nothing in it that causes drowsiness...unless I guess if you ODed on it!

zaczmumme - I only give it to my DD at night and give her less than the max lol so no ODed DD over here.

Oh choc hope the teething doesn't go on much longer....can you see any swollen gums or anything to say its coming out soon?? My DD has an unusual bad nappy rash and they say that can happen when teething too but I cant see any swollen gums or anything so dont know if my DD is truly teething or is teething but wont be coming out any time soon...you just never know...

hehe oh I know, I was just joking :P I always feel bad giving meds to Zac, but if he is in pain and nothing else works then I would much rather give them than not.

He has got swollen gums in the middle at the top and his top side teeth (either side of the 2 middle ones) have just cut.  I'm sure this is the wrong order for teeth though!  He had a horrible nappy rash too last week.

Well I am worried now as we started giving him his dummy to calm him down when he screams at 4am, so that is gonna be a new problem to overcome.  he usually only has it for naps as we weaned it at night months ago.  So I am worried I won't be abkle to tell when its not the teeth waking him anymore but him waking out of habit for the dummy.

oh dear that would be my nightmare cold turkey for the second time for the paci! it was horrible the first time. hmmm..that is interesting that the other teeth are coming out not the front ones but it should be ok. oh wow it's nearly over soon choc just the middle ones seem to be coming soon! I guess time will only tell with the paci....

No he can't replug, he gets it all the wrong way round!
He didn't wake at 4 for his dummy last night so don't think he is hooked again yet, and he settled himself without it about 3 times.

It is weird about the teeth isn't it, I must admit I am a little worried and probably will be until they are through!  Hope he isn't gonna have weird teeth!

I don't think it matters if they come through in a different order :) Great to hear he is not hooked again and can resettle without it.

Wow! What a good boy! We have random STTN's with no rhyme or reason at the moment so I probably am not the best to give advice! But, you could try re-creating the same day as he had yesterday and see how he goes?...Otherwise I think the advice Kara has given is pretty spot on! :)

Nope, doesn't matter at all :)  My nephew got his first 4 in a weird order... one bottom, one top, then the second bottom and the second top ;)  He is 7 and his teeth are great :)
