Yes I have had it done for my DS2. It detects the prescence of IgE antibodies which are present of your LO is having a type 1 allergic reaction to something. The allergin must be present in the diet for the test for work. There is a normal range, and then a range of numbers which indicates an allergic response.
My LO showed a number a step above the normal range, and this was whilst I was on a full ED and EBF without ANY allergins in my diet. So it shows that whilst he was not having an allergic response to anything his immune system is highly sensitive and reactive. If I was eating dairy the results may have been different.
He definantly has a dairy intolerance BTW.
It does not detect whether you child has an intolerance to dairy which is very common, an intolerance does not involve the immune system therefore won't be picked up on a RASP.
