I've been using 7/8 cup oil with 1/2tsp salt in place of 1 cup of butter. I also went dairy/soy free for months and big {{{hugs}}} to you and admiration for your determination.

I've used the Earth Balance soy free for baking and it worked just fine. I made DS2 birthday cake with it.

Now I can't find anything to work with the RPAH elimination diet. So I'll try the oil and salt and see how that works.

So glad you can confirm this. I was going to try baking for DS's Christening something that *I* could eat while everyone else had cake. LOL
