how to fit 1 nap in with school run?
« on: June 23, 2011, 11:25:58 am »
Hi,
My dd2 is 12 months and has started refusing her 2nd nap, so I think we'll be heading for 2 to 1 transition soon. But I'm not sure how to time her nap to fit in with the school run.
I have to leave to pick up dd1 at 12.45 and am back at 1.30.
She wakes at 7.30 usually and bedtme is 8  - so would 1.30 be ok for one nap or is it too late in the day.
I don't think she'd be ready for this yet but I'm thinking ahead.

Thanks! L

When is her first nap at the minute?  Is she managing the long A time to bed when refusing the second nap or are you doing early bedtime?

Her 1st nap is around 11 til 12.30.
She manages ok when she doesn't take her 2nd nap but I ususally put her to bed about half an hour earlier
