increasing solids at 6 months
« on: June 24, 2011, 17:38:52 pm »
My DS has been on solids one time a day since 4 months.  He LOVES them.  He will be 6 months on Monday and I would like to increase him to at least 2 times a day. Is there a thread for this?? I want to know if I decrease his milk at all or if I keep everything the same and just feed him an hour after he gets his morning milk? TIA!! :)

You don't need to decrease his milk at all yet, that will happen as he gets much closer to 1 year. For now milk is more imprtant than solids so yes, solids are part of A time about 1 hour after milk feeds. This link may be useful for you http://babywhispererforums.com/index.php?topic=68458.0

HTH!
