NWs have returned... to feed or not to feed?
« on: June 26, 2011, 18:39:54 pm »
Hi

My LO is only 11 weeks old but started STTN last week - we had a blissful week of sleeping 11-6ish - but the last 2 nights he has woken up twice in the night. The first waking I just resettled him with sh/p and it was fine, but then he woke again and would not be consoled so I fed him, but only a small amount. Normally a full feed is 5oz so I gave him 3oz. However, he was then not hungry at all for the first feed of the day. The fact that he was STTN before and that he's not hungry in the am makes me think he isn't really hungry, and I don't want feeding to become a prop for NWs.

Any comments/suggestions/experience with this?

Thanks, Anna.

There is a massive growth spurt at about 12 weeks - might be that?
