French Toast Question

Does anyone know how long challah french toast (homemade) can stay OK at room temperature? I wanted to bring a piece with me for DS this morning for him to have after his mini-camp at the JCC. But it's only a two hour group and I stay at the facility and workout/shower while he's there. So the french toast would have to stay un-refrigerated (but in an air conditioned facility) in foil or ziploc for about 2.5 hours until he eats it... Thoughts?

Hmm  do u hv a cool bag with a cooling agent that you can bring?

See I do but then no way to warm it up. Can't use the microwave at the JCC since the new cafe there is strictly kosher and doesn't allow outside food.

Personally, I think it would be OK for a couple of hours.  It's cooked, which is better than saving a raw egg for that long (which I wouldn't eat).

Cooked egg is a really good environment for bacteria.  I would put it in a coolbag with an iceblock and serve cold or take something else.

Perhaps wrap it in foil, keep it in a cool bag, then put it on top of your cup of coffee or tea to warm it  back up??

Thanks guys! I ended up lucking out. The cooking teacher there is the mother of our favorite babysitter and she was happy to keep it in her room's fridge for me and I warmed it back up in her microwave 10 minutes before serving.
