Activity time for 9 month old
« on: July 11, 2011, 18:36:30 pm »
Hi,
My 9 month old now has two 3hr activity times then her last A time is about 3.5 - 4hrs. Is that usually the way it's done? Her naps have really reduced in length so I'm wondering what I can do to her A times. Today she fell asleep straight away for all naps and at BT so that makes me think that it was the correct times, but this doesn't happen everyday.
Any thoughts?  :)

Today she had a 3hr activity time in the morning then were late getting home before her afternoon nap so she had a 4 hr activity time and slept 2 hours in the afternoon !! does that mean she needs longer A times?

Hiya

Think your post is on the wrong board hence the lack of replies!  I would say if naps have been shortening then yes she probably does need an A time increase.  Given what happened yesterday I would say that just proves it!!!

Just try adding 15mins A time for 3-5 days & see if that helps to increase her nap.  If no real increase, then add another 15mins.  Doing it gradually like this will avoid her becoming OT.  Or you could see how she fares overnight tonight & then if you get a good wakeup tomorrow repeat the same!
