Does food have an effect on sleep once they're a toddler?
« on: July 14, 2011, 20:04:26 pm »
I have a gut feel my son is going through a growth spurt but he's 14 months, he's eating loads at the moment.  Anyone else found this?  Has it affected their sleep?
Here's my blog which is focussed on simple food for babies, toddlers and families http://mamacook.blogspot.com/

I find that with growth spurts there is a period of a few days where my DS eats like a horse, and a few days where he sleeps like Rip van Winkle. Usually with him the sleepy days come first, then when he wakes from that sleepy spell it's like he has to eat to make up for it!

I still find that both of mine will EW bc of hunger.  DS=28mo DD=16mo
Frequently it is right around a GS or if they have been "too busy" to eat (both spirited)
Neither of mine tend to get sleepier around GS ::)  Bummer for me!
