Has anyone seen a good "food guide" for babies?
« on: July 18, 2011, 14:41:04 pm »
Hi there,

I can't seem to find a good food guide for babies in terms of quantities of each of the food groups per day or meal. Now that he's almost 9mo and he is eating more finger foods, I'm just wondering how much of each food group I should be offering my DS.

He still gets 3 formula feeds of 8oz.

Has anyone seen a good set of guidelines for little ones?

Thanks!

There's a bit of info here about the food groups but tbh I don't get hung up on it.  I offer plenty of fruit and veg and meat at least once a day and plenty of carbs and fats.  Very little if any sugar (apart from naturally occurring ones).  I don't add any salt.
Here's my blog which is focussed on simple food for babies, toddlers and families http://mamacook.blogspot.com/
