Define "A" Time
« on: July 19, 2011, 17:09:08 pm »
I am having a little bit of a hard time understanding exactly what A time is.  So here's a scenario:
DD wakes from nap at 10:40 and I feed her, which takes 20 minutes.  We then talk and have tummy time for a little while and then start our wind down at 11:20.  I put her in the crib at 11:35 and it takes her 5 minutes to settle.  Then she starts Stage 3/light sleep at 11:40, with deep sleep starting around 12.  Is her A time 1 hour or 1 hour 20 minutes?

A time is from eyes open until eyes closed. So 1 hour.  :)
