Maybe this is obvious but I will get him to sleep...then he wakes and it will take 20 min to get him back down again....is that all counted as "S" time?

Or do I start and stop the clock and then just add up the actual time he slept and count that as my "S" and start the "A" from the moment he wakes from his final stretch of sleep?

I've been doing the later...but thought I'd ask here to be sure.

I guess it doesn't totally matter but I wanted to know and figured you would all know and there would be other moms wondering the same thing, too.

I count A times from the last time they've woken up.  If they've had a broken nap then I'll count up sleep times.  So a 45 min nap with 20 mins extension followed by another 30 min nap would be a total of 1h 15 min napping in my eyes.
