What's happening here? Fresh ideas needed please!

This is why UT/OT loops are hard, it's like a vicious circle...they wake early so need more sleep during the day to catch-up...then they resist BT as they have had a decent nap etc, etc!!

You could try a 1.5hr nap & then aim for BT around 7pm?

Didn't see this til just now! been at my folks . He had a 2 hr nap there! Will do bed 7.20 and do 1.5 hr nap and bed at 7 tmrw. Will check in and let u know.

Did bed at 7.15pm last night and he was quiet at 7.20 - result!

No NW and woke just before 6am - I was really pleased.

My Mum and Dad have him today and said he seemed so tired this morning and very grumpy. Maybe its all catching up with him? So we capped the nap at 1hr 45mins and will do a 7.15pm bedtime tonight.  We chickened out of 1 hr 30 nap as he seems shattered! Apparently he got up from his nap fine but is now very tearful and grumpy again : (

Forever tweaking! Encouraged by this mornings wake up though. DH has been  away with my stepson and laying in until 10am every day!! He is back tonight : )

Well would you believe it??!!!

Daddy got back at midnight last night. We had 2 VERY brief NW where Bram had lost his cover or was upside down - just moaning but I knew if I didn't go in it would escalate.

Then he woke for the day at.......6.55am! Can't believe it! Really pleased! Don't want to mess it up now though.

Do you think he has just been tweaked out of that UT/OT? Shall we carry on capping the nap at 1 hr 45mins or go to 1.5 hrs? and what time shall we do BT? He will only have around an hour nap today anyway as he's at Nursery - the big naps are when he's at home.

I'm thjnking because he won't have along nap today but got up late : ) that BT should be about 7.15? He's usually exhausted after Nursery..

Hopefully it's working, although I always find that keeping things as consistent as possible helps to maintain things.

If he's only going to sleep for an hour at nursery then he will definitely need an earlier BT (tho this will depend on what time he naps?)

He'll nap about 1.15pm for approx an hour- quite late.Think I will do 7.15pm tonight unless he naps for a long time today which isn't likely xxx Thanks Sian xxx

Hmmm, it could be he was OT after his nap at nursery being late (so a long A-time from WU to nap) & then only an hour nap.

We will  have a late nap today again as Bram at Nursery again. It will def be after 1pm and will be less than 1.5 hrs. Shall I do bed at 7pm? Or would that mean too short A time before bed? Or does that not matter because his nap will; be short?
