can you be just soy intolerant?
« on: August 10, 2011, 04:24:35 am »
again... the title says it all.

i barely have any dairy as i am lactose intolerant (maybe a slice of cheese a day & lactose free milk on my brekky) and i have noticed on the days where i have had a soy drink - usually when at a cafe - DD2 is really unsettled later that day & gets a bit of mucous appearing in her poop.

i'm pretty reluctant to do an elimination of dairy and soy cos i have other dietary restrictions to deal with & *thought* i could do an ED just for soy & see if that makes a difference, since there seems to be an obvious reaction?

would love to hear if anyone has any experiences similar... or if i'm totally barking up the wrong tree  :P

Hi, I think it is worth taking soy out of your diet for a week or so and seeing if that makes a difference. If there is no unsetteldness then consume a lot of soy in one day and monitor any reactions.
