Cluster feeding
« on: August 10, 2011, 22:08:11 pm »
My 5 week old does 3.5oz every 3-3.5 hours (3 at night, he could go 4 during the day... I think he is confused but that's a post for a different day).

How many ounces should a cluster feeding be?  He has reflux and I worry about over feeding... perhaps cluster feeding isn't a good idea for us?

TIA!

I would aim to give the same for the second feed before bed at he usually takes but accept he may not take is all. Keep am eye on his symptoms and if he flares maybe give less the 1st cluster feed so he gets the full feed before bed?
