Well I just switched her to apples/blueberries tonight so I will pay attention to her ear pulling.

Today I put her to bed at 8:30pm and she woke up at 9:30pm. It's 10:25pm now and she's starting to fuss again. Let the fun begin.

Have you tried pain killers? May just be the growth spurt too. Good luck! Let's hope the apples and blueberries are kinder to her stomach.

There were some different things going on yesterday (Friday). I didn't feed her breakfast (nursed instead); I tried to nurse her more often throughout the day; her naps were shorter than usual. Two times that she woke up I was able to get her back to sleep without nursing her (maybe she wasn't really all that awake) and after the second time I noticed she made this weird scrunched up face, like she was wincing in pain, and then dropped off to sleep. Coincidentally, this was our best night of sleep in a LONG time, with a FOUR HOUR & twenty minute stretch!!!

Here was our schedule from yesterday:
7:10am - wakeup/nurse
9am - nurse
9:15 - 10:30am - wakeup
12pm - lunch (carrots - didn't want)
12:30pm - nurse
12:50 - 1:30pm - nap
1:30pm - nurse
3:45pm - nurse
4pm - go for a walk
6pm - nurse
7:30pm - dinner (apples/blueberries)
8pm - nurse
8:30pm - asleep
---------------------
9:30pm - nurse
10:30pm - nurse
11:38-11:44pm - fussing, kicking, playing with her bedding, roll over, go back to sleep (no intervention by me)
11:57-12:04am - fussing, kicking - I put my hand on her legs to stop her from kicking (kicking seems to wake her up more) - she settled down and went back to sleep. I noticed she made a wincing face right before she dozed off
12:40am - fuss, nurse
5am - nurse (OVER 4 WHOLE HOURS OF SLEEP, WOO HOO!!!!!!!)
7am - awake for the day

Any thoughts or explanations? I'm sorry for posting all these boring schedules... I don't know any other way to explain what's going on throughout the day though  :-\

Ok so I still think you've probably been giving too much solids and she's filling up on that. If you saw improvement in one day with less solids and more nursing, I would stick with that.
