Much better today. F slept 12 hours tonight and my mum woke him up after 2.5h nap!!!  :o Definitely he feels better and needs catching up! This evening we put him to bed a later, at 9.30, because he slept so much today and I was afraid to have EW tomorrow, and he was in a good mood even that late (and I am hoping he will sleep half an hour later tomorrow morning, as it is Saturday and I can also sleep... ;)). Will see. I hope that antibiotic does not affect his tummy...

Thank you all for the good vibes and wishes!
Barbara

Glad he is feeling better.

Madi woke up at 7:30am today and of course she didn't nap. come 6pm she almost fell asleep on the sofa, so I gave her a quick snack to perk her up. In bed at 7pm and asleep by 7:30pm . Fingers crossed.

Glad your lo is better, Barbara.

Dec woke at 7 yesterday and then had 1.25 hr at nursery- he seems quite happy to nap there! In bed at normal time. he's been awake since 6.30 this morning and i doubt he'll nap here- grrrrr. Might have to enforce some quiet time. Should be easy to do as DS1 (6) has my cold and so was awake at 5.30, so he'll need to rest.

I have a feeling today is going to be a long tough road, specially as I'll be on my own for most of it.

hugs sweetie. I am alone at nights and I find that the most difficult b/c I have to deal with all the nws and EWs. It has been really hard on me, especially now that I have 2.

Madi woke up at 7am, so that was an 11.5hour night. She said she woke up b/c Alyssa was crying. Could be true b/c she was fussing and crying for me at 6:50am.  I have been up since 4am b/c of Alyssa. God, grant me the patience and strength.

Going to aim for a one hour nap today, if she takes it.

Hugs to you! I too have been up since 5 am. First with ds and then dd woke up at 6 after only a 9.5 hr night! I don't know how I made it, but the day is over. I let her nap 1.5 hr today but made sure sh was up by 2:30 then did 8:15 bt. Hoping for a better night. And as if I didn't have enough issues we start daylight savings next weekend... Sigh! I too am alone for most of the ew, nw and bt. Hugs to you ladies. I know just how you feel!

Only 10.15 h tonight. And he was tired but did not want nap, so I had to put my foot down and decide it was time to nap. He is starting to like playing more and now he doesn't want to stop and transitions to one activity to another are becoming tough. Hope he sleeps now. I think we are back to normal life... :P
Sorry Sabs and Shresmummy to hear about the difficult nights. I don't know if I could manage two, and I have DH sharing the duties...

Sounds like we all had a rough night last night! here's hoping for a more peaceful one tonight.

Managed to get Declan to sleep in the car as I had an errand to run, but even with that he was still really tired the rest of the day. Oooooh, if he'd just sleep in bed at home, just sometimes!

Not sure how tonight is going to go. not Dec, but my eldest, he's got the nasty cold I've had and bless him he just can't breathe. I've dosed him up with probably more meds than I should, he's got olbas oil on a tissue by his bed, and I've attempted to syringe his nasal passages with Sterimar- limited success! Hopefully the fact that he's been awake since 5.30am and we've been on the go all day will help him sleep.

Sorry for the ramble, just wanted to get it all off my chest.

that is why we are here!  :-*
Hopefully we will all have a peaceful night.

I got Madi to nap on the sofa with me beside her but capped it to 1hr.  In bed and asleep by 8:10pm.  If only she would not fight her nap and stay in her bed!

what are you ladies going to do when we move the cocks back one hour?

Sabs, I don't usually adjust their schedules at all when the clocks change, I just stick to the new times and they adapt to it.

The only thing I may well do is if for example Dec is up from say5.30am (6.30 old time) I'll make sure he gets a nap somehow to get him through the day.

We are already adjusting our BT. BT is a bit later and later every week until it gets to 1 hour later. Xx
