Flax seed can be used as egg replacer!
« on: August 25, 2011, 12:01:56 pm »
Hi,

Have just been browsing the internet for new reicpes for Olly and have found that flaxseed can be used as an egg replacer. It would seem 1 tablespoon of ground flaxseed is mixed with 3 tablespoon of water to replace 1 egg!

Thoguht I would share in case this helps anyone  :)

I found this out a while back, but BUY milled flaxseed... i made the mistake of buying the first one as whole and the blighters are a nightmare to blend yourself lol

ive not tried it yet though, we didnt have a flour sub we could use yet so no need for eggs lol

let me know if you try it though and how it turns out lol
