Hiya,
I'm trying to find here a thread about it but can't seem to find it... It's a mum that had to go away for 10 days and was worried about the supply and if LO was going to take the breast again and she had absolutely no trouble.
The two most important things are that you pump while you're away, to maintain your supply. And to BF as much as possible upon your return.
The whole 'nipple confusion' concern is usually for younger babies, although Tracy talked about flow confusion instead of nipple confusion. Your LO at 5/6months should be fine.
I had terrible trouble with DD to get her to take a bottle so with DS, from around 3 months (I think) I started giving one bottle of EBM everyday. Started with the DF, as he would take it better than other feeds and later, when he wasn't DFng anymore the BT feed.
I'll keep looking for that thread...
