What's a "med dream feed"?

You give meds in the early hours using an oral syringe whilst they are still asleep....it can help to stop them waking from pain/discomfort & push their WU later (if it's pain related).

That's not a bad night so FX for today!

Thanks, I did not know that! Dh and I have often debated doing that, but I thought he could choke on the small amount if he was sleeping but I guess not at this age!

The swallow reflex takes over (same as doing a milk DF) when you give the meds but I usually stay in the room for a minute or so after to make sure it's gone down.
