Ick so my internet played up and here is my post from this morning (so out of date

)
Kara - I found around days 4-5 Zac's nap would shorten and I needed to do a CN or quiet time/EBT I think they do get a touch of cumulated OT with the change, but it can be managed. Teething will make it extra fun aye!

Hope today goes well.
I agree with Claire with not pushing after a short nap. Save the pushing for after a great night, or a great nap.

Choc - I am a nap freak too and just tell family that in general we need to work around his naps. That said he is touchy and they finally get what he is like when OT. Also our family are close so it is relatively easy. Could your family come to you every fortnight so that it is only 1 a fortnight his naps get messy? Or meet 1/2 way at a park or beach or cafe? That way it isn't so far for either of you can you can go after the nap? We usually do mornings or arvos with family now. Or on the travel days go for 2 shorter naps. ie CN in car on way over (or 45mins) then CN on way home?
