Same here with Zac. I think they realise they can get into different positions for sleep, but then get a little confused about it all or stuck ::) Hang in there it doesnt last forever :-*

Riley did the same thing for awhile before she realized she liked tummy sleeping. At least it was still only 1 NF to settle her. Two short naps today so DH hopped in the car with both girls (Riley has skipped naps for a week now) and they both fell asleep. So I'm scrapping the CN & aiming for an early BT for Avery. Where's my magic switch?  ;)

It's only a week and half since she hit that 6 month mark - some moms say it's closer to 7 months ;)  There is still time!

How long is her A time first thing in the morning?  You are also at that great age when tired signs can be totally fake!

Yuuuup!!  If A times haven't been upped in a few weeks, I'd take a look at that, too :)

I'm (half!) kidding, ;) just having a bad 2 days. DH has been away etc. I do wonder if her tired signs are fake lately come to think of it. Yesterday & today were about 2 hours 30-40 mins and both yielded short naps. Yesterday 45 mins & today less than 40 but I got her back for another hour.

I tried this morning to up it, she still woke at the 45 minute mark but DH went in & resettled her (I was out running) and she slept another 45-50 until the wind slammed a door & woke her ::) but she did end up with about 1.5 hours of sleep so I'm going to see what happens with this next nap. We did have have a weird night so maybe today isn't the best measure of success? And I think I might start offering a "lunch" to her because she is loving her solids :)

I *think* 2 hours 45-50 mins, I'm not exactly sure when she woke up. But she woke from her nap at 10:30 so I'm going to aim to put her down as close to 1:30 as I can.

Keep her first A time at 2 hrs 45 min for a week and see if that first nap lengthens a bit... it won't happen right away.  If she naps less than 90 mins, you want to keep her second A time a bit shorter to compensate for the shorter nap.

Same thing this morning, 2 hours 50 A, woke at 40 mins. I went in after 10-15 mins put her back on her side with paci & got another 45 mins. DH thinks the paci is becoming a prop and I wonder if he's right. He thinks that's why she's not transitioning during naps lately. I think we might try to ditch it before it becomes a problem. Her nights have been good. Hmm....

If she sleeps at night with it, then you know she can go without - might be a good time to ditch it.  Her naps aren't great right now anyways so you may as well take the opportunity!
