We will see if the increased A times & development make the difference in the naps. Her nights have been getting increasingly better so maybe she's sorting that out first. I know the paci isn't an issue at night. She had about 2 hours 50 A before the 2nd nap, woke at about 40 mins & was able to be resettled for another 40. I feel like I can't decide if it is more important to get more sleep with help or less without and hope she just "figures it out", kwim? DD1 had already lost interest in the paci on her own at this point but definitely went through similar issues with short naps. They did eventually get better but she was/is LSN.

I would just keep resettling her - it really sounds like a developmental thing with her... If you can resettle her fairly easily, the longer sleep with your help is better than multiple short naps on her own... it's a pain and hard on momma's back, but one day - I promise - she will do it on her own :)

She's usually clear about if she'll resettle or not. If she's wanting help, it takes no time at all. It's not hard on me, I was just nervous we were preventing her from figuring it out. But I do think it will pass & getting a longer nap does seem way more logical :)

We are starting to get a more reliable long nap at lunchtime. Since we started giving him solids at 11, we have had more and more 2h+ naps from 12-2. Our problem at the moment is that it is taking forever to settle him - 35 minutes this morning to get a 15 minute nap. ::)  We are now putting him down on his front more and more because that seems to get us the longest stretches of sleep, but it feels like a prop because he can't put himself on his front to go back to sleep if he wakes in the night.

Ho, hum. Holding out for his sorting it out on his own!

It won't be long until he figures out how to get to his belly ;)  That saved us too!

I bet he'll figure out how to get to his belly if he likes to sleep that way.
Avery was up at 7 this morning and my husband & I were running in a race so my mom came to watch the girls. I told her to try to hold Avery off until as close to 10 as possible for her nap. My mom said she was showing major tired signs so she put her down at 9:30 and that little bugger slept until 12! My mom has the magic touch, my own personal BW ;) then we went to the park in the afternoon and she slept 40 mins in the car. So she's had much more sleep today than in a long while! Hoping for a good night because momma is tired!

After a brief wake up at 9:45 that I had to settle her for (she's been doing that lately somewhere between 9:30-10:30), she slept until about 6! She was quiet until I got her up at 6:30. I'll take it!
