Say he is waking frequently and would like  o rule out reflux. Sometimes that is the only symptom. We tried a med wean and the only really symptom to indicate he was failing was frequent nw. Now we are back on the meds we have gone from 10 nw to 2. Not sttn but obviously much better.

We got a meds increase, not much but some. I'm crossing everything that it's the trick. While at the doc I found out my little guy isn't really gaining weight ( 4oz in 6 weeks), so life right now is just discouraging. I have another appointment with my regular doc ( he wasn't available today) to talk to him. Haivng said that, I don't thiknk hunger is the cause of our NW....
(we've tried a full bottle just to make sure and it didn't change anything)

today we had a day of 45 min naps and a longer than I had planned A time until bed. We've had one NW at around the 40 min mark, and he's stirred in there a couplle other times but I haven't had to go in. Toinight is my moms last night here so she's going to do the first NW and I'll take the million after.....

Ah sorry your ma is going. Get some sleep tonight. I hope the med increase is helpful. Do you think it needed to be more?

I honestly have no idea about the meds. She said it was the highest she could give us....1.33ml in the morning and 1.33 in the evening....does that sound right (for zantac and a 14lb baby?)?

We had one small success, he took a 1hr30min nap today, the first in ages. What A time is your little one doing? Our little guys are born around the same time (april 20th) and after these naps went to pot I've been looking all over at sample schedules. Before everything went south we were doing about 2.5 hr A time sometimes 2.45. I'm not sure if he got OT because of the bad nights (but the nights were also bad during our great naps...) or if we are in an UT/OT cycle.

how long do  you think before I should see a difference with the meds. he's had 3 doses of the higher dose, but last night was awful.
BT 745 (after a 505 wake up from cn, tried laying down at 715 but took until 745)
A:945 tried feeding here because BT feed wasn't good, but he didn't act hungry
A:11
A:115
A:245 tried again here and he took a small feed
A: 4
A:510
A:630

It's taking me about 5-30 minutes to get him back to sleep each time which often leaves me 45 minutes or less of sleep, this is unfortunately becoming a health issue for me (as well as him). I am at a loss...what do you think? Is it time to possibly look into the sleep specialist? Maybe a sleep clinic?

I'm not that good with meds but that is double the dose we were on when we tried ranitidine so it maybe good. I think it can take a while to kick in. Up to 2wk initially i was told maybe quicker for an increase. We have just started getting longer naps on 2.5 to 3ish hrs a time. What happens if you feed at every nw? I only ask because when b was bad he always slept longer after a feed than when i settled without feeding. Did your Dr say anything else when you got the dose increase?
