What BT would you do?
« on: October 26, 2011, 15:00:45 pm »
DD1 is 2.75 and has pretty much dropped her nap. She has always been somewhat of an early riser & LSN. She typically wakes up between 6:15-6:45. We've been getting her in bed so that she's asleep by 7 or so. Does that sound about right?

when you first transition it is advisable to do about 11.5 hours from wake up...some people do 12.

With DS we do a 6.30/45pm bedtime on no nap days and he wakes around 6.30-7am.

Thanks Becky, I figured it was about right.  Usually she's asleep before 7 & drifts off right away.  I'm sure she's tired at night but seems to do ok during the day without napping.

If her behaviour starts to deteriorate or wakings creep earlier, I'd try an earlier bedtime, asleep by 6/6:30.  Otherwise OT accumulates and it's hard to clean up.
The tweaking never stops!
