hugs lilly. suprised u have time to post.

Was thinking if I just pushed to 4hrs ans AP'd maybe she'd take a better nap. She woke earlier than usual even though she seemed so tired.

What do I do with WW then?

Ugh ladies - DS had a disaster nap day today.

WU: 6.15am (10h 45 sleep)
Nap: 11.15am - 11.45am  (at nursery - I can only assume OT nap after 5hrs A)
Nap:  3.45pm - 4.15pm    (at nursery  - again obviously OT since he'd only slept 30mins all day)
BT:   6.30pm

His usual carer wasn't there & I suspect them put him down to nap in the brightly lit baby room instead of the blacked out toddler nursery where he usually sleeps.  I'm really amazed we got a 30min nap after 5hrs A though.  Haven't had one of those in a while.  I'm also kicking myself for not calling them this afternoon to check how he'd napped b/c I'd have told them to try him again after a couple of hours.  But I didn't, & they waited 4hrs before trying again.  Whilst this would usually be OK for his 2nd A time on a 2 nap day, his 1st A wouldn't usually be 5hrs.  Ugh - I'm not quite sure what's going on here at all!  Expecting an EW tomorrow so I imagine he'll be having 2 naps again tomorrow.

So A had a great napping day yesterday. He slept an hour in the morning and then 2 hours in the afternoon after a 4 hour A. The second nap was from 2-4. He went right to sleep at a 710 bedtime. But he's been having trouble staying asleep tonight :( up at 250 and I hear him talking now at 4 so not sure if he ever got back to sleep.

Should I be thinking about capping the second nap also? I thought that was a no no. Or maybe I should be pushing off bedtime? I'm nervous to push off bedtime since he is a naturally early riser. Or should I just continue as us and give him some more time to adjust to the new schedule?

Can't believe some of you have been working in this transition for months already!!

ETA that noise at 4 am may have been in his sleep, because I did not hear anything else until 615. So one short wakeup around 220 is not bad. I guess I will continue with letting him go for his second nap.

Whooo first time I've put her down in weeks without a fight. Increased A in am has helped so much. Only trouble is she had BT 830 and

WU at 655 bf in bed and planned to get up and start the day.
745am she was looking for breast again offered it and she fell asleep (as did I) and slept till 850.

I put her down at 1230 so I've no idea what A that was!!!

If you got a 30min nap I would offer another one after 2-2.5 hours ;)

Ladies we are at 30 pages so I am going to lock and link to the new 2-1 thread :)
