Should I see a difference in her behaviour immediately? I ask this because on the first night, after 2 feeds of it, she slept til 3am....which has been unheard of.
I would say fairly quickly

Is she likely to be more hungry?
It's easier to digest so potentially yes.... but you may find your nights even out given she isn't in pain

With regard to weaning....if this works (please god i do hope so) then can I still start to wean to solid foods at 6 months, just avoiding milk/soy products?
Yes!!

DS had very bad diarrhoea with nutramigen

thanks laura, did you have to move on to a different formula, or stick with it?

Anyone else reading, my questions are all at the bottom of page one.

We moved back to soya milk - which sounds like it'll be no good to you :-\

I think you need to stick with it for a bit :-\

The change might be hit and miss for a couple of weeks while her body gets rid of the bad stuff

She might drink more because it settles better not because she is hungrier iykwim

We are on neocate (same kinda thing as nutramigen AA) and alyssa doesnt get hungrier infact they can be used as sole nutrition so it should fill them up

I agree with Laura's answers although being hungrier on a HAF isn't something I have heard of before.

If it is MSPI then it can take a few weeks for things to totally improve but it is a good start that you have already noticed an improvement.

My DS started to take a bit more when on neocate...not a ton more...just enough that I noticed.
