Hi Hon,
(HUGS) to you. The first thing that screams out at me is that DS A time to nap is 6 hours or so and that is long, especially when having recently transitioned. The recommended A time to start with is 5 hours and even when LO are months older than DS they can find 6 hours hard to handle. However I can see that a shorter A time wouldn't fit in with the school run
. Is there any way DS would start his nap in the car and transfer to cot pr pushchair once you're home. IME the A time is so important. Our DS is 22 months now and has been on 1 nap since 12 months but if he goes 6 hours he wakes up in an awful mood and is way more OT all the way to BT. At least his nap is good. Like Karen rightly said you can try for 2 nap days untill he catches up and then shorten the A time. Don't be suprised if he refuses 2 naps though, it's quite common even when they're OT as his body clock will have clicked into the longer A time by now.
Good Luck Honey
Vicki.
