I gave all dairy foods yoghurt, cheese, etc, after 6months.

As puree or mashed foods I did things like cauliflower cheese (make the cheese sauce using thier normal milk)
When ever i made stews i would just take the veg and gravey from it as it had lots of flavour (if you worry about the salt in gravey/stock cube you could always make your own stock)
Butternut squash soup is lovely, a favourite of my lo.
Try a pea puree as peas make quite a sweet puree.
Once my lo had tried cheese a few times i introduced tomato, so I would make a cheese and tom sauce to add to pasta or cauliflower.
I make a natural yoghurt or ice cream, frozen fruit and milk smoothie for my older one and my lo loves it too, (he only has the yoghurt and i use his own milk)

I did things so differently with my older one but my lo has just fitted in and he is eating fab!

The only thing i have found he struggles with is very dry food like rice cakes, bread sticks, etc we have had a few very scarey things happen with these so i have stopped giving them to him for a little while.

I gave yoghurt and cheese probably at around 7 months... just because i didn't rush into introducing them.. not really because i was delaying them IYKWIM?
