so 1.5hr nap? That is fantastic. What time are you likely to get him down? If it is really late maybe he will sleepin the car? I hope you can get him down. If I need to be out late I sometimes take PJ's with me and put them on before we leave and then he will sleep on the way home and I can pop him straight in bed. Not sure if that would work for you?

Yes, it was a great nap, 1 hr 35. Unfortunately the car journey came just at the wrong time to let him go to sleep, so I was in the back in full on entertainer mode!
Kept him awake in the car, then bath, bottle and asleep by 7.30. Best of a tricky job for today...

I hope he tacks on and sleeps in FX. Any waking before 6am I always treat as a NW and resettle.

Hm. Resettling is a bit of an issue.
We've almost never had to do it, other than with illnesses. I know that is incredibly fortunate, but also incredibly scary, as it's bound to happen at some point, but there's no ground to go over.
Will have to give it a go if it happens!

Good nap yesterday of 1 hr 25, and asleep by 7.15.
He's awake at the moment - 6.20. Yesterday he went back to sleep, day before he didn't.
Guess and earlier nap and BT if he's awake for good now?

I hate this uncertainty...

He did go back to sleep this morning, woke at 7.50, but went back to a 35 minute sleep this afternoon.
I guess it's just going to take time to get him settled into this new phase.
BT at 7 tonight, and everything crossed.

Oh that is good.
What time did you do the 35min nap? That sounds OT to me.
FX for tonight.

I agree (hooray - I must be learning something!)
My mum had LO today and we think he got OT and excited at playing with her so didn't give usual tired signs. He was later to sleep 12.55 rather than 12.20.

We'll try to do better for him tomorrow.

That makes sense. Each day is a new day. Just chalk it up and start afresh tomorrow. I do find at this age by the time they seem tired sometimes it is too late. I tended to go with the clock more at this age based on what A times did ok for us.

HELP! He's poorly. Coughing and got a cold.
What do I do about naps?
He's been asleep for an hour but is coughing and unsettled at the moment. Get the feeling it's going to be one of those nights.
What if he's been awake half the night?

Sorry, more questions again.
