« on: December 12, 2011, 08:50:46 am »
what do you do when you haven't got enough time for two complete a times and a nap before bed?
eg wakes 3.30, a time 2hr.... so nap due at 5.30pm, but bedtime is 7pm so half hour sleep takes you to 6pm - what do you do??

You could Put little one down earlier than 2 hrs a time? He/she might only nap 30 mins but that's all you want. Will LO sleep if u do that? LJ does.

We amend bedtime accordingly - anywhere between 6.15pm and 7.30pm altho normally earlier.  Dependent on last nap! We also try to get her to bed 1.5 hrs after she wakes from cat nap altho sometimes 2 hrs. Some Los won't sleep through the night if naps too close to bedtime but LJ does. She's so shattered from her day.

Xx

Thanks, had a beaut day today for the first time in a VERY LONG time.. I managed to extend his naps (only by 40mins and then extend again) but hey success is success in whatever form it takes! I tried putting him down 1h40but he'd have none of it. He's a tummy sleeper and is really rolling around what fun!
Oh, well, try again tomorrow. Thanks for your help - i always worry that by cutting bed time back i'll get ew and that will send the next day out as well.
